All opinions expressed on ‘humani nil a me alienum puto’ are well-reasoned and insightful. The opinions on this blog are not legal advice. In addition, they are not, necessarily, those of any of my past, present or future employers or clients. Anyone who says otherwise is itching for a fight.

What does the blog name mean?
It is latin for “nothing human can be alien to me.” When I marticulated in undergrad, Maya Angelou delivered the address. I was young, impressionable, a little intimidated by environment. So, I think, I actually paid attention to her, although I hadn’t the foggiest idea who she was. She repeated, several times, Terence’s quote: “I am human. Nothing human can be alien to me.” For some reason, it’s one of those quotes that has stayed with me over time. I like it, because it seems to mean different things to me at different points in my life.
